The new Draw cord closures have replaced the elasticated versions allowing for a greater control on the security/tightness of the hay/haylage. This may help you reduce wastage. 
The water resistant textile lid is secured by means of a draw cord stop closure and strong cord. This gives a greater control of the lid position and is useful when the bale starts to decrease in size. The lid can be secured with the clips on either side which will ensure it does not fly away if kept outdoors during winter or windy weather.
The water resistant sleeve body has draw cord fastenings to the top and to the bottom. Strong cord and draw-cord stops allows maximum tightness and security of the hay/haylage. This is very handy as the bale starts to shrink and lose weight. The cord closure can almost be drawn shut! The side of the main body is in a very robust coated polyester and will withstand harsh conditions. (Large skirt to top of the bale, short at the bottom).
